Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or B.Sc Nursing is a 4 year professional course which is affiliated by Indian Nursing Council and Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council. There are mainly two Bachelor programs in nursing available namely Basic B.Sc(N) (4 years) and Post Basic B.Sc(N) (2 years). Nursing science is a field of knowledge based on contributions of nursing scientists through peer reviewed scholarly journals and evidence based practice.This course focuses on the care of individual, families and communities so they may attain, maintain or recover optimal health and quality of life from conception to death.
